Getting started with Davies CXsmart
Davies CXsmart (Voice of the Customer) is the platform your organisation uses to collect, read, and act on customer feedback. Surveys go out across channels — web, email, SMS, and phone (IVR) — and every response flows into one place where you can analyse trends, investigate individual comments, and follow up on the feedback that matters most.
This page gets you signed in and oriented in about five minutes.
Signing in
Davies CXsmart signs you in through Clerk, our identity provider. The exact options on the sign-in screen (for example an emailed code, Continue with Google, or your organisation's single sign-on) depend on what your administrator has enabled.
- Go to your Davies CXsmart web address and choose Sign in.
- Enter the email address your administrator set you up with, or pick one of the offered sign-in methods.
- Follow the prompts to complete sign-in — for example, entering a code sent to your inbox or authenticating with your provider.
You're in. If you belong to more than one client account, use the switcher to choose which one to work in.
Add Davies CXsmart to your browser bookmarks. After your first sign-in, you may stay signed in until you sign out or your session times out for security.
If your account is idle for a long period, you'll be signed out automatically. Just sign in again to return.
The app layout
Every screen shares the same frame, so once you know where things live you can move around quickly.
Left navigation
The teal sidebar on the left groups everything into sections:
| Section | What's in it |
|---|---|
| Analyse | Dashboards, Responses, Verbatim, KPI, Reports, Alerts |
| Engage | ADEPT, Leads, Coaching |
| Configure | Surveys, Admin |
Click any item to open it. You can collapse the sidebar with the panel button at the top of the header to give yourself more room; it stays collapsed until you expand it again.
When you drill into a sub-page (for example, a single survey or an Admin tool), a Back link appears in the header to return you to the parent screen.
Top filter bar
On every Analyse screen (Dashboards, Responses, Verbatim, KPI, Reports, Alerts) a filter bar sits just under the header. This is the single most useful control in the product: it lets you narrow everything on the page to a slice of feedback — by survey, date range, channel, agent, team, and more. The same filters carry across the Analyse screens, so a view you set up on Dashboards still applies when you switch to Responses.

Global search
In the centre of the header is a search box. Use it to jump straight to surveys, responses, and other items by name or by the words customers actually wrote. Searching response text takes you to the matching feedback in the Response Console.
Switching client accounts
Davies CXsmart is multi-tenant: your feedback lives inside a client account (also called a workspace). If you have access to more than one client account, a switcher appears at the left of the header. Pick the account you want and the whole app — surveys, dashboards, responses, everything — reloads scoped to that account. Data never mixes between accounts.

Your five-minute tour
Try this quick loop to get a feel for the product:
- Dashboards (the home screen). Look at the metric widgets — NPS, CSAT, response volume, sentiment. Use the survey selector and date range in the filter bar to focus on one survey and the last 30 days.
- Responses. Open the Response Console to see individual responses streaming in. Click View on any row to open the detail drawer and read the answers, notes, and agent attribution.
- Verbatim. See the free-text comments customers left, with sentiment and topics applied automatically.
- Alerts. Check whether any responses have triggered an alert (for example, a detractor score) that needs follow-up.
- Surveys (under Configure). Browse the surveys your account runs and how they're set up.
That's the core loop: collect, analyse, investigate, act.
