Reports

The Reporting & Export page is your report library — a set of ready-made reports that run on your own live data. Pick a report, run it, and you get a chart and a data table you can read on screen, save for later, or export. It replaces the need for a separate business-intelligence tool.

At the top of the page, a strip of metric cards shows how many report types are available, how many saved reports you have, and how many scheduled exports are set up.

The tabs

The page is organised into four tabs:

TabWhat it does
Report libraryBrowse and run the available reports
Saved reportsOne-click access to reports you have saved
Scheduled exportsAutomated, recurring exports (see Scheduled exports)
Export templatesDefine custom column sets for response exports (see Exporting)

Running a report

  1. Go to the Report library tab.
  2. In the Choose a report list, click the report you want.
  3. If the report is survey-specific, select a survey in the filter bar at the top of the page. Trend reports also let you choose to group by Day, Week, or Month.
  4. Click Run report.
  5. The result appears as a Chart and a Data table below.

Filters

Reports honour the filter bar at the top of the page. Choosing a survey, channel, or date settings there shapes the data a report returns — so the same report can answer many questions depending on how you have filtered.

note

Where a report is below the anonymity threshold, or simply has no matching data, the table shows "No data (or below the anonymity threshold)" rather than partial figures.

Saving a report

After running a report, click Save. It is added to the Saved reports tab with its type and parameters, so you can re-open it in one click. To remove a saved report, hover over it in the list and click the delete icon.

Exporting

Every report you run can be exported to Excel or CSV using the buttons beside Save. For finer control over which columns appear in a response export, use Export templates. See Exporting for the full picture.
